About the procedure

The procedure is quick and performed in a calm environment, with meticulous attention paid to pain management and the newborn's comfort throughout. To ensure safety and optimal healing conditions, in-office circumcision is only available for newborns under 28 days old who have received a Vitamin K injection (not the drink). Dr. Minuskin also provides families with comprehensive aftercare instructions and continued support to promote proper healing and recovery. As both a medical provider and a certified Mohel qualified to perform Jewish ritual circumcision (Bris and Brit Milah), Dr. Minuskin integrates cultural and religious sensitivity into the procedure when requested.
