Minor Ambulatory Procedures

For many common issues, there’s no need to go to the emergency room. At Kiddies' Pal Pediatrics, we are equipped to safely and comfortably perform a range of minor ambulatory procedures right in our office. These include abscess drainage, removal of splinters or foreign bodies, treatment of skin lesions, and more. Dr. Minuskin takes a gentle, reassuring approach and uses child-appropriate techniques to make the experience as stress-free as possible. We maintain a sterile environment and follow evidence-based protocols to ensure your child receives top-quality care with minimal discomfort.

We offer removal of sutures and staples. Please contact the office as soon as your child has sutures or staples placed so that we can recommend the ideal timing for removal. Some urgent cares and emergency departments use a blanket statement of 7-10 days which is inappropriate.
